HR POLICIES

Major activities of Set Group Human Resources Department can be listed as search & selection, recruitment, training and improvement, safety, compensation & benefits management, performance assessments and career planning.

The aim of Human Resources Policies:

  • Setting and spreading policies that will ensure establishing transparent and fiduciary relationship between company and employees.
  • Selecting the eligible candidates to the corporate culture and profile and making sure that the present employees adopt Group values.
  • Providing necessary technical and personal development trainings for the employees.
  • Executing the competency based performance management for white collar employees and applying the performance based salary system.
  • As an indicator of our safety commitment, ensuring a healthy and safe working environment that is continuously improved.
  • Ensuring that professional improvement plans and career maps are created on the basis of performance and competencies of the employees.

HR APPLICATIONS

Search&Selection - Recruitment

The aim of recruitment activities of Set Group is to find people who are well educated, innovative, open minded, high performer, team worker and open to alterations as well as adopting & attending to Group values.

The essential principle regarding selection and recruitment, is to give equal opportunities to people who has the knowledge, skills and attitude required for the job and who can adopt and live up to the Group’s values without any discrimination and privileges.

The recruitment process of Set Group is initiated in line with the annual recruitment plan after acceptance of approved personnel requirement forms and it is realized by means of internal transfers, recruitment data bank or job postings. Primarily, internal resources should be utilized in order to find personnel required by the organization. In case it is not possible to make an assignment within the organization, Human Resources Department assesses resumes of candidates on the data bank according to the requirements of current position. People considered to be suitable are interviewed. The job interviews will be performed by the Human Resources Department and director of the related department at minimum two levels. After checking the references of the selected candidate(s), Human Resources Department makes a job offer with a recruitment confirmation letter.   

Training and Improvement
Set Group provides training for all employees at all levels for performance and career improvement. It is essential to provide high quality trainings. Therefore we diligently select the training suppliers.

The training plan is annually determined according to performance assessments, personal improvement plan results of the employees and job requirements. Training is one of the major personnel development tools. Monitoring development by creating opportunities and atmosphere is the common responsibility of Set Group’s Human Resources, employees and executives. In Set Group, training is considered to be an integral part of the career planning.
