Breaking into Turkish cement market with 5 cement plants acquired in 1989 within the scope of privatization program, the Company has expanded its range of products introduced to construction sector with its ready-mixed concrete production.
Prioritizing studies and investments for adaptation of product and production and know-how of our Italcementi Group with operational disciplines for activities of Set Group Holding in Turkey, we have undertaken a leading role by realizing a major investment move in the sector thanks to modernization and capacity renewal as well as environment and safety oriented projects. As well as being one of the major cement manufacturers around the world, Italcementi Group is world’s 5th cement manufacturer company and the leader in the Mediterranean basin. The Group combines experience and culture of 22 countries where it conducts its business activities. The world-wide still - expanding industry network of the Group has more than 22. employees, 63 cement plants, 13 cement grinding plants, 5 terminals, 125 aggregates plants and 614 ready-mixed concrete plants all around the world.
